Soil Deformation Save is a script for Farming Simulator 25 that preserves wheel ruts, tyre tread marks and plow furrows after saving and reloading the game. Normally, every save and reload wipes these marks, but this mod remembers them and restores them on your fields. It works in the background without any settings, menus or on-screen messages. The mod is compatible with both base game and modded vehicles.
• Remembers the marks of every wheel on the ground: tractors, implements (disc harrows, rollers, ...), trailers, harvesters – base game and modded vehicles alike.
• Saves how far the wheels sank in as real terrain deformation and rebuilds it into the soil when you load.
• The tyre tread marks and the furrows dug by the plow are saved and restored too.
• Marks disappear only when the soil is worked again by plows, cultivators, disc harrows, subsoilers, packers, rollers, ridge formers and seed drills.
• Works in single player and on the server/host; players who join as clients do not see the restored marks.
Data is stored in soilDeformationSave.xml in your savegame folder, and marks rebuild gradually after loading, starting with those closest to the camera.
