The Disable Escort Vehicles mod for Euro Truck Simulator 2 removes the pilot cars that normally travel alongside oversized cargo in Special Transport jobs. Once installed, the escort convoy no longer appears on the route, leaving you alone with your truck and the heavy trailer. This lets you choose your own speed and lane without the constant restrictions imposed by escort vehicles. The mod was tested on ETS2 v1.62 and is compatible with game versions from v1.46 to v1.61.
• Fully disables pilot and escort vehicles in Special Transport jobs
• Removes lane blocking and artificial speed limits during the haul
• Allows free lane changes and overtaking without convoy interference
• Compatible with ETS2 from v1.46 to v1.61, tested on v1.62
• Does not affect other cargo types or regular in-game jobs
Installation is simple: copy the mod file into the mod folder in your game documents and activate it in the mod manager before loading your profile.
