Traffic Density Control V1.0.2 is a script for Farming Simulator 25 that adds a dedicated section to the game settings for adjusting AI traffic density. The number of active AI vehicles can be changed directly in-game, without leaving the session or editing files. Values from 15 to 150 vehicles are supported, so roads can be calmed down or made noticeably busier. For map creators, traffic splines can optionally use the user attribute trafficDensity or density.
• A value of 0 blocks traffic on the spline, 0.1 means very low traffic, 0.25 low, 0.5 medium and 1 normal traffic.
• Splines without this user attribute keep their normal map behavior.
• A manual reload function in singleplayer reloads AI traffic once when vehicles are stuck or behave unusually.
• In multiplayer only the host or an admin can change the vehicle count, and the server must be saved and restarted for it to take effect.
Version V1.0.2.0 corrects collision detection for railroad crossings and traffic lights, and higher values should be raised carefully and tested individually on each map.
