Irrigation System is a mod for Farming Simulator 25 that introduces realistic soil moisture and field irrigation mechanics. Each field has its own moisture level, which is replenished by rain and reduced by sunlight and heat. If a crop stays too dry for too long, it will eventually wilt, leading to lower yields at harvest. To combat drought, the mod adds an irrigation reel with a gun cart, featuring a 350 m hose and a 350 m³ tank.
• A "Soil and Crop" panel displays the current moisture status on the field, and Alt + M opens a map showing moisture levels across the entire farm.
• The reel can be filled at a water station, from a water tanker, or directly from a river.
• Unrolling the hose requires speeds not exceeding 6 km/h; beyond that it brakes, and above 9 km/h it breaks.
• After watering, the soil remains dark and wet for about twelve hours, and a report shows the amount of water applied and the area covered.
The mod also supports automatic hitching of the cart to the tractor and allows rewinding the hose while pulling the cart back.
