The Split Brakes V1.0 script adds independent rear-wheel braking to tractors in Farming Simulator 25. In reality, many old as well as modern tractors are equipped with such a system. Split brakes are particularly helpful when transporting heavy loads, when the tractor becomes too light on the front axle and steering over the front wheels gets difficult. In such cases the tractor can be turned around the blocked wheel by braking a single rear wheel.
• Independent braking for each rear wheel
• Usable up to a speed of 50 km/h
• Hotkeys: Alt + Numpad 1 for left, Alt + Numpad 3 for right brake
• Fixed the vehicle not moving and the RPM not dropping when brakes are applied
• Smoother braking and optimized parameters for realistic physics
This mod is a real must-have for short manoeuvring work and forestry operations, and setting the gear shift mode to manual is recommended for an even more realistic driving experience.
