Hand Throttle V1.5 is a script for Farming Simulator 25 that adds a real hand throttle to every tractor in the game. With a manual gearbox you set the throttle or the RPM and simply work the gears, just like on real machinery. With a CVT you set the speed much like the drive lever of modern tractors. On any gearbox you can cap the engine's maximum RPM to protect the motor and cut fuel use.
• Hand throttle and cruise control never work together, just like a car's cruise control and speed limiter
• With the system off (no HUD) the game's and Vehicle Inspector's cruise control works normally
• With a mode on or paused the cruise control is blocked, so the same buttons can be bound to both
• Increase and decrease are merged into one action that accepts keys, buttons and analog axes
• Action names changed (HT_* → ETHT_*), so key bindings must be set again
The script fits naturally into vehicle controls and makes working with manual and CVT gearboxes noticeably more realistic.
