OpenRoad: Super Power v1.0 is an engine modification for American Truck Simulator that gives every truck in the game a strong but still drivable power boost. Engine torque is multiplied by 3, air resistance is reduced from 3.0 to 1.5, and braking power is doubled. Top speed is still limited by gearing and the end of the torque curves: about 190 km/h with a typical gearbox, or up to about 225 km/h with the longest one. The speed limiter remains a game option under Gameplay > Speed limiter.
• Power: torque ×3 for 173 engines across 19 truck models
• Aerodynamics: air resistance lowered from 3.0 to 1.5
• Braking: braking power doubled
• Fuel: consumption changes from OpenRoad: No Fuel
• Physics: handling changes from OpenRoad: No Rollover
• Compatibility: game version 1.61, single-player only
The mod is not compatible with other mods that replace def/vehicle/physics.sii or the engine files for stock trucks, and it may need an update after a major game patch.
