OpenRoad: No Rollover v1.0 is a handling physics modification for American Truck Simulator that reduces truck body roll in corners. It changes the sway_bar_stiffness_factor parameter in the def files from 1.0 to 3.0, making the front anti-roll bar three times stiffer. For the greatest effect, set "Vehicle stability" and "Trailer stability" to maximum in the Gameplay options. These settings lower the centre of gravity and further reduce the chance of a rollover.
• Front anti-roll bar stiffness: 1.0 → 3.0
• Less body roll in fast corners
• Compatible with game version 1.61 (built from 1.61 files)
• Single-player only — not for TruckersMP or Convoy
Rollovers cannot be fully prevented through def files because the centre of gravity is determined by the truck models, and the mod may need updating after a major game update.
