Mechanic Workshop V1.0 is a script for Farming Simulator 25 that turns ordinary vehicle repairs into a realistic trip to the workshop. Instead of instant restoration, you send the machine to a service and wait for the job to be finished. A new Send to mechanic button appears in the workshop menu next to Repair, along with a quick option for players in a hurry. While the vehicle is at the mechanic it is gone from the farm, and it returns exactly where you left it.
• The service takes 1 to 2 days depending on how badly the vehicle is damaged
• Quick repair is instant but costs double the normal price
• You cannot TAB into the vehicle or use it during the service, and dual wheels travel with it
• A notification arrives when the work is done and the machine comes back to its original spot
• The service state is saved with your savegame, and multiplayer is fully supported
The standard Repair button of the game is replaced by the two buttons of this mod, while service duration and the quick repair multiplier can be changed at the top of scripts/MechanicWorkshop.lua.
