Animated Steering Wheel v1.0 is an interior modification for Euro Truck Simulator 2 that rebuilds the steering wheel and cabin animations across supported truck series. It is based on the original Animated Steering Wheel mod by DKL_quit and adds compatibility updates for newer game versions. The mod fixes the issue that prevented steering wheel reach and tilt adjustments. Steering wheel position adjustments can now be used together with the driver entry and exit animations.
• Dynamic animation: when the vehicle is switched off, the wheel and steering column tilt upward, and they lower back into driving position once power returns.
• Wheel adjustability: reach and tilt adjustments are fixed and work alongside the entry and exit animations.
• RHD wiper optimization: the clearing area and wiping patterns on UK-spec right-hand-drive trucks are improved to reduce visibility blind spots.
• Cabin compatibility: adapted for digital mirror displays, LCD dashboards and newer cabin interiors from various brands.
• Supported trucks: DAF 2021, XD, XF, XF Euro 6, XF Electric, Iveco Hi-Way, Stralis, S-Way, MAN TGX, TGX 2020, TGX Euro 6, Mercedes-Benz Actros 2009 and 2014, Renault E-Tech T, Magnum, Premium, T and T 2024, Scania R 2009, Streamline, R/S 2016, S 2024e, Volvo FH16 2009, FH16 2012, FH 2021 and FH 2024.
