Pacific is one of the more notable former Canadian truck manufacturers, having a worldwide reputation for robust trucks in logging, oilfield, and a number of other demanding applications. The model P-500F comes from an interesting period in Pacific’s history where they were owned by International Harvester. It was made from about 1974 to 1981.
Some of the things that made the P-500 series remarkable in the on/off-highway market were robust construction, serviceability and exceptional ground clearance. While it’s quite a climb into the cab, the view is impressively commanding and even the most basic-spec Pacific trucks had interior trim rivaling other manufacturers’ premium offerings. This mod hopes to capture some of that majesty.
