Site Rules
MODHUB is a community of modders, creators, and players. These rules keep the place welcoming for everyone. They apply to mod uploads, comments, messages, and anything else you contribute.
Things you SHOULD do
Credit creators
If a mod is based on someone else's work, credit them in the description. Get permission for re-uploads.
Test before publishing
Make sure your mod actually loads in the game. Include version compatibility info.
Write clear descriptions
What does the mod do? What's new in this version? What does it require? More detail = more downloads.
Respond to feedback
Reply to bug reports and questions in your mod's comments. Build a reputation.
Tag correctly
Pick the right game version, category, and platform compatibility. Wrong tags hurt discoverability.
Things you SHOULD NOT do
Re-upload without permission
Do not re-upload mods from other authors without explicit permission. Even with credit. Repeat offenders get banned.
Upload malware or unsafe code
Mods with viruses, miners, or backdoors get instant ban + IP block. We scan all uploads.
Pirated content
No DLC content, no DRM-bypass tools, no copyrighted assets without rights.
Spam comments or messages
Promotion of unrelated services, repeated identical messages, or harassment = warning then ban.
Multi-accounts
One person, one account. Don't create alts to avoid bans or spam upvotes.
Discrimination or hate speech
Zero tolerance for racism, homophobia, sexism, or harassment based on identity.
Adult content in mods
Mods targeting Farming Simulator must be appropriate. No explicit imagery or audio.
Moderation
Our moderation pipeline:
- Automated scanning — every uploaded file is scanned for known malware before going live.
- Manual review — first uploads from new authors are reviewed by a moderator (usually within 24h).
- Community reports — anyone can report a mod or comment. Reports go to a moderation queue.
- Appeals — if your content is removed, you can appeal via contact form.
Sanctions: warning → 7-day suspension → 30-day suspension → permanent ban + IP block. Severe violations (malware, pirated content) skip directly to permanent ban.
