Scania Newgen V8 Stock Sound v1.5 for ETS2

This is a sound mod for Euro Truck Simulator 2 that replaces the engine audio with the Scania Newgen V8 Stock Sound v1.5 feel. It’s made for the new Scania series R and S by SCS and Eugene’s, but it’s intended for R & S Series only, so it won’t be optimized for other trucks.

• Version: v1.5
• Equipment type: Stock V8 sound
• Compatibility: Only R & S Series (new Scania R & S)
• Improvements: remake some samples
• Fixes: corrected bad pitch tuning in FMod (FMOD)
• Audio options: exhaust sound can be adjusted in the audio menu

The main goal of the mod is to improve how the V8 character is perceived in ETS2. By remaking selected samples and correcting pitch tuning, the engine audio becomes more coherent across different RPM and driving situations. The result is a more accurate “stock-like” sound profile while still addressing issues that could make the pitch feel off.

You also get practical control through the in-game audio menu. Exhaust sound settings allow you to balance the prominence of the exhaust note to better match your setup and hearing preferences. If you want an upgrade that stays close to factory style instead of turning the truck into a fully custom audio overhaul, this Stock V8 option is a solid choice for Scania Newgen R and S drivers in Euro Truck Simulator 2.
