Soil Draft Physics v0.7.3 is a script for Farming Simulator 25 that introduces realistic soil-implement interaction and tyre physics. It calculates draft force for ploughs, rippers, subsoilers, cultivators, disc harrows and seeders according to agricultural engineering standards ASABE D497. Tyre traction depends on real tyre sizes, wheel load and pressure, while soil moisture affects resistance — heavy wet clay pulls harder than dry sand. The script supports Precision Farming soil types but also works without it by using a medium soil type.
• Realistic draft force per implement type (plough, ripper, subsoiler, cultivator, disc harrow, seeder) based on width, depth and speed.
• Uses Precision Farming soil types (sand to silty clay) and soil moisture; without PF it defaults to a medium soil.
• Tyre/soil traction from real tyre sizes (e.g. 710/60R38), wheel load and pressure; rolling resistance in soft soil.
• Automatic tyre pressure by axle load, CTIS support in 4×4 Traction System (VarioGrip style), fixed pressure on tractors without CTIS, tracks supported.
• Clean movable HUD: Ctrl+Shift+H to show/hide, Ctrl+Shift+M to move with mouse; settings in modSettings/FS25_SoilDraftPhysics.xml.
This is a beta version, so feedback and log.txt are welcome; the script is not recommended with Mud System Physics or Tractor Terrain Dynamics because tyre grip is handed over to them automatically.
