This mod is a script for Farming Simulator 25 that adds deep, continuous mechanical maintenance simulation for all powered vehicles in your save.
• Engine: 5 interlinked components (cylinder, piston, bearings, crankshaft, valves) where wear contaminates oil and accelerates further damage
• Thermal: coolant temperature rises under load; overheating happens if the radiator condition is degraded
• Fluids: oil level/contamination and coolant level, both checkable and requiring maintenance
• Transmission: wear over time for clutch, gearbox, turbocharger, and battery/starter motor
• Failures: probabilistic failures that spike above ~35% component wear; critical overheating above 118 °C is guaranteed
• Vehicle impact: real power loss reduces effectively available torque; real no-start cases (dead battery or worn starter)
A scheduled maintenance system includes 10 service items (engine oil, filters, hydraulic/transmission oil, coolant, grease, belts and more) with individual intervals and a real in-farm cost automatically adjusted to the vehicle’s actual power. It also provides a 3-page vehicle HUD with detailed engine diagnostics and adjustable placement in Settings. The game’s shop/farm workshop/mobile workshop repair screens now run a complete HRM2 service as well. Multiplayer support was significantly improved, including correct persistence for maintenance progress, but it is not yet fully validated in MP.
