Sound Fixes Pack v26.48.1 is a mod for American Truck Simulator that updates and corrects common in-game sounds for better realism. It acts as a universal audio fix pack, making small sound details more consistent and natural while you drive and when AI traffic is active.
• Version: v26.48.1 — refined default/fallback electric window sound effect
• Scope: multiple common sound improvements in one package
• AI traffic: refined tire sound merging for more AI traffic sound sets (Traffic Sound Rework)
• Previous updates: added/adjusted engine sounds for 2009 Mercedes-Benz Actros 2551 (MP3 generation) in AI traffic
• Previous updates: added/adjusted engine sounds for 2009 Mercedes-Benz Actros 2655 (MP3 generation) in AI traffic
The pack is designed to be flexible and compatible. It works with all maps and all trucks, including truck mods, and it does not replace individual player truck sounds. That means you can combine it with other truck sound mods without losing your personal audio setup.
Compatibility covers single-player and Convoy mode in American Truck Simulator, where it is marked as optional. For best results, set a higher priority in Mod Manager than rain sound mods and other AI traffic sound/weather-related modifications. With correct load order, the game log should show no errors, helping you keep immersion improved across every trip.
