Soil Draft Physics v1.0 is a script for Farming Simulator 25 that completely overhauls how vehicles interact with the ground. It calculates implement draft using ASABE D497 agricultural standards and tyre traction via the Brixius model. Ploughs, cultivators and seeders now feel different depending on soil type, moisture, working width, depth and speed. The mod supports Precision Farming but also works without it by using a medium soil type.
• Realistic implement draft: ploughs, rippers, subsoilers, cultivators, disc harrows, seeders
• Precision Farming soil types (sand to silty clay) and soil moisture affecting traction
• Tyre traction and rolling resistance from real tyre sizes (e.g. 710/60R38), wheel load and pressure
• Automatic tyre pressure by axle load, CTIS support in 4×4 Traction System, tracks supported
• Clean movable HUD: Ctrl+Shift+H to show/hide, Ctrl+Shift+M to move with mouse
• Settings for intensity and traction scale in modSettings/FS25_SoilDraftPhysics.xml
This is a beta version, so feedback and log.txt are welcome; not recommended with Mud System Physics or Tractor Terrain Dynamics, as tyre grip is handed over to them automatically.
