Advanced ChaseCam v1.0 is a script for Farming Simulator 25 that overhauls the chase camera to behave like in racing games. It changes the third-person camera positioning without affecting the in-cab view. All options are configured in General Settings > Advanced ChaseCam. If you only want the camera height adjustment without auto-alignment or reverse cameras, you can disable all other settings.
• Camera Height: High (default, good all around) or Low (not great for combines) — positions the camera above the vehicle so it sits lower on screen.
• Chase Camera Dynamics: Normal (default) holds heading briefly then catches up, Relaxed trails more slowly, Off is the base game camera.
• Free Cam Auto Alignment: Immediate (default), Delayed (for manual side shots) or Off — swings the camera back behind the vehicle when driving straight.
• Reverse Camera (on by default): automatically turns the camera around while reversing and back forward 1 second after reversing ends.
• Reverse Camera Auto Center: Off (default) or On — springs the camera back to center after using free cam in reverse.
• Reverse Camera Turn Speed: Smooth (default), Fast or Instant — adjusts how quickly the camera changes in and out of reverse.
This script offers flexible camera customization for any driving style and improves vehicle handling comfort.
