Downtown Advertising Billboard for GTA 5

This is a GTA 5 mod focused on downtown advertising, adding or updating billboard visuals to make city streets feel more detailed and alive. After installation, you’ll get replaced texture assets and emissive lighting elements, plus LOD updates so the ads remain consistent and readable from a distance.

• Type: Downtown advertising content (billboards/signage)
• Main changes: swap YTD files and associated YDR-linked assets
• Lighting: emissive effects for the ad surfaces
• Distance support: updated LOD materials and “children” texture sets
• Goal: improve the overall city atmosphere in GTA 5
• Compatibility note: includes optional flow for users of RCA-related replacements

The mod is designed to integrate into the Downtown RPF structure by replacing the required files. When working with extra billboard or texture packs (such as RCA), verify the exact RPF paths and filenames before overwriting, to prevent conflicts and missing textures.

Before you start, make backup copies of the original files. That way, you can easily restore the default GTA 5 assets if something doesn’t look right or if another mod affects the same textures.
