This script adds a realistic 4×4 traction system for Farming Simulator 25, compatible with tractors, trucks, harvesters and cars. The system engages the front axle and locks the differential based on actual wheel slip, not just a key press. Four driving modes are available: Manual, Semi-automatic, Automatic and Intelligent, assignable per vehicle. Version 1.4 introduces physical traction prediction that accounts for slope, rolling resistance and lowered implements.
• Power and grip: the system predicts required force and compares it with rear axle grip according to soil type and moisture.
• Differential lock: three positions (open, rear, rear + front) with progressive engagement.
• Speed: maximum speed with 4×4 engaged is 25 km/h for tractors and harvesters, 40 km/h for trucks and cars.
• Tyre pressure: Fendt-style pressure simulation adjusts automatically to field or road conditions.
• HUD: on-screen display shows live wheel slip, axle locks and the reason for each decision.
The system requires no XML changes per vehicle and supports multiplayer, though multiplayer is still in development.
