Cobra ESD 7000 Police Radar Detector for GTA 5

This GTA 5 mod adds sound functionality to the Cobra ESD 7000 Police Radar Detector, making it audible when patrols are near. The detector starts beeping as you approach a police vehicle, and the beep frequency increases as you get closer and meet the configured conditions.

• Mod type: police radar detector with K-band audio alerts
• Trigger: nearby police vehicles and the configured speed threshold from the INI
• SPEED_LIMIT: the speed in meters per second that starts the beeping (set to 0 to disable the limit)
• SEARCH_RADIUS: detection radius for finding nearby cops (larger radius may cause more lag)
• BEEP_IF_HAVE_WANTED_LEVEL: whether to beep when you have a wanted level

In GTA 5, the mod does not spawn cops and does not grant any wanted level by itself. It’s meant as an informational warning system, so if you want extra wanted behavior when you exceed speed, you should use other mods that handle police escalation.

The beep sound can be replaced with a custom WAV file by swapping the PoliceRadarBeep.wav. Note that the mod only supports WAV audio, and there may be a brief performance hiccup the first time you enter a vehicle after launching the game.
