Straw Chopper is a script mod for Farming Simulator 25 that changes the behavior of the straw chopper in combine harvesters. When harvesting with the chopper enabled, a thin layer of chopped straw appears on the field instead of disappearing completely. This makes the field look much more natural and closer to real working conditions. The mod works as a standalone script, does not interfere with vehicles and does not require editing them.
• Supported crops: wheat, barley, rapeseed, oats, rye, triticale and spelt.
• Realistic distribution of chopped straw across the field after the combine passes.
• Does not affect combine performance or change its settings.
• Compatible with most maps, but the final effect may vary depending on crop settings and textures.
• Version 1.0.0.1 improves functionality for rye, preventing excessive straw accumulation.
This mod is perfect for players who value realism and want to see a natural field appearance after harvesting.
