Ray Gun Mark II for GTA 5

Ray Gun Mark II is a weapon mod for GTA 5 that swaps existing weapon assets to bring the Ray Gun Mark II look and feel into the game. It’s intended for players who want a distinct sci‑fi style while keeping standard GTA V integration. The mod is installed by replacing specific .ydr and .ytd resources using OpenIV.

• Mod type: weapon asset replacement for GTA 5
• Compatibility: GTA 5 (uses the dlcpacks/patchday3ng structure)
• Files to replace: w_sb_microsmg_hi.ydr and w_sb_microsmg.ytd
• Install location (OpenIV path): GTA V → update → x64 → dlcpacks → patchday3ng → dlc.rpf → x64 → models → cdimages → weapons.rpf
• Recommended usage: without accessories

Once the files are replaced correctly, Ray Gun Mark II becomes available through the corresponding in-game weapon entry. This lets you immediately test visuals and firing behavior during gameplay. For safety, keep backups of the original files so you can restore them at any time.
