The Performance Upgrades V1.0 mod is made for Farming Simulator 25 and lets you upgrade compatible vehicles with selectable engine and transmission improvements that create actual performance gains. It’s not cosmetic renaming—these upgrades affect vehicle physics, power usage calculations, and how the vehicle behaves under load.
In FS25, the mod adds two separate shop categories so you can configure each vehicle for its intended tasks. Engine upgrades provide seven selectable engine setups directly in the vehicle shop. Each choice changes the real torque curve and peak horsepower during gameplay, and the shop’s standard horsepower/kW readouts update automatically to reflect the selected configuration.
• Standard: stock engine power
• Intercooler: +10% power
• Valve train: +15% power
• Displacement: +20% power
• Crankshaft & pistons: +40% power
• Engine control unit (ECU): +50% power
• Turbocharger: +100% power
Transmission upgrades are selected independently from the engine. This allows you to increase engine output while also installing the drivetrain components needed to handle added heat and stress. With the “Advanced Damage System”, each stage progressively reduces gearbox heat build-up, including cooling-fins housing, clutch/torque converter upgrades, oil cooler and oil flow improvements, bearing upgrades, and gear upgrades.
