Chop straw (Pick-up) V1.1 is a script mod for Farming Simulator 25 that brings back the familiar FS22 ability to collect straw with forage harvester pick-up headers. Once activated, every pick-up header for forage harvesters can gather straw swaths and turn them into chaff. Switching between straw and chaff works at any moment with a single key press, without changing machines or settings. The mod is compatible with all base game pick-ups, including CLAAS PICK UP 300, Kemper 3003, John Deere 639 Premium and Krone EasyFlow 300 S.
• Mode switch between straw and chaff bound to Left Alt + H, rebindable in the control settings
• The current mode is shown in the help window and a short message appears when switching
• The selected mode is saved in the game save
• Works with pick-ups from other mods as long as they can collect grass swaths
• Grain headers, corn headers, forage wagons and balers remain unchanged
If straw is still inside the forage harvester when you switch to chaff, you must unload it first.
