Soil Draft Physics is a script for Farming Simulator 25 that introduces realistic soil-implement interaction physics. It takes into account soil type, moisture, tyre size and pressure, as well as axle load, affecting draft forces and traction. The mod uses ASABE D497 standards for draft and Brixius traction model. It is compatible with Precision Farming but also works without it, using a medium soil type.
• Realistic implement draft (ploughs, rippers, cultivators, disc harrows, seeders) based on type, width, depth and speed.
• Uses Precision Farming soil types and moisture, but works without PF as well.
• Tyre traction and rolling resistance depend on real tyre sizes, wheel load and pressure.
• Automatic tyre pressure based on axle load, with CTIS support in 4x4 Traction System.
• Clean, movable HUD (Ctrl+Shift+H show/hide, Ctrl+Shift+M move).
• Settings in modSettings/FS25_SoilDraftPhysics.xml (intensity, traction scale).
This is a beta version, so feedback and log.txt are welcome. Not recommended with Mud System Physics or Tractor Terrain Dynamics, as tyre grip is handed over to them automatically.
