This mod is a helpful tool for forestry that provides useful information for logs and assists with processing them.

You can use the hotkeys displayed in the F1 menu to switch between length and weight modes, as well as to select the target length/weight. The length is measured accurately, while the weight is only an approximation. The weight mode is not available in multiplayer.

The chainsaw will snap to the indicated location once within 20cm. The angle still has to be adjusted manually. The help window displays information that can help decide whether or not to fell a tree or cut it further. To achieve maximum quality, a piece of wood needs to be a near-perfect frustum of a cone, between 6-11m long.

This mod is also compatible with the lumberjack mod. Hotkeys: [C] switches between modes, [Z] cycles through possible target lengths and weights.
